I have seen Fred's collection of postcards. Very impressive. No one loves Anderson any more than Fred Whitten.

IPTAY funds cannot be used to pay employees. Five days of lost wages is a lot for folks who make $20,000--$25,000 a year. That is the reason for the fund. Not everyone who works at CU is a big dog (tiger) on campus. Some of us are just folks.

Well said quy. Bob McCall is merely a merchant of hate. He can always criticize, but never quite comes up with any reasons for this wrath other than his own secret knowledge (which he never reveal). Everyone can see what he is about.

The only difference that I know of is ground water. Now how ground water and lake water interact I am not sure, but there must be some sort of connection. Maybe a Clemson or state hydrologist can fill us in on how this works.

The Wall has deep meaning for those who lived through Vietnam. I too have several friends who's name is on the Wall. Hopefully, the students at Clemson U will pass by and know that this men and women died preserving freedom just as service men and women are doing today in the Persian Gulf.

Use the tight ends. Run up the middle. Throw deep to Kelly and the Tigers can win. The defense is playing well--they deserve more credit. Did anyone see that play GA Tech used against FSU? The TE around with mis-direction--TD!

Much better story than your usual Salley. You write best when you write from the heart and not try to be humorous.

Thanks for the correction. The Giles County sheriff's department said, "Smith Mountain Lake". If it is Mountain Lake--- an easy mistake to make.

As for "robmacgreg" everyone knows this is Bobby McCall, someone who has never liked anything I have written in 2 years. The guy has some type of personal grudge.

Thanks to all the readers who have submitted useful information on this case, which I am sending to the Giles County sheriff.
