I don`t know who you apparently think I am, and don`t really care ,but from the tone of the posts that you make,I know what you are,and I would rather you didn`t bother answering anything I put in this paper.I usually try to stay away from people who are mentally challenged.

And I hate to disagree with you,but I was told by the Dept. of Education,in Columbia, that some of the school districts do have 100% funding for their four year kindergarten. But maybe those districts didn`t have to settle with a former administrator and a school nurse this year. That probably cut into their budget, and they had to cut somewhere else,so they could keep all the administrative people happy, even if they have to deny four year old kids an equal opportunity.

Ill be happy to enroll my child in a private school or homeschool them, just as soon as it is made legal for me to refuse to pay any taxes for the operation of any of the public schools, but until this happens,I`ll keep demanding what I am forced to pay for and will not accept the discrimination that you are willing to accept. With me it`s a matter of principal,If I don`t stand up and demand equal rights for my children,I don`t think I could consider myself a good parent,or expect any respect from them later on in their lives.

I personally think Senator Bryant should stop playing these Imature Republican games, and try to get something done about the Anderson County School problem, concerning our kids not having an equal opportunity to attend four year kindergarten in some of our School Districts.Especially District four, and LaFrance Elementary School. It seems that if you have a normal,or exceptionally bright child, and if you work and pay taxes like the law demands of people who own anything, your child is left behind. Is this really the American way,or DISCRIMINATION, at it`s worst!

Maybe they can loan District four some of that money,so they can fully fund their four year kindergarten, and no child will be left out.

I want to inform you that I am very well educated, and when it comes to my children,I refuse to either calm down or accept the fact that my tax dollars are going to educate other people`s kids while mine are being left out.If these kids need extra help they are the ones who need to be in a special or private schools, instead of being in a public school, where they can hold other kids back and keep them from learning to their full potential. And no matter what kind of decoration you try to put on this situation,It`s still DISCRIMINATION!And I think the Judicial system will ultimately have to handle this, in a court of law to get this problem corrected. This too will be at the taxpayer`s expense, while some will get another free ride.

I am talking about 4 year kindergarten at LaFrance Elementary School, where the parents who work and own homes, pay taxes for the schools to operate and offer a 4 year kindergarten for some of the kids they classify as being disadvantaged, but don`t have room for the kids whose parents want the most and best for their kids,so they won`t be behind next year when they start 5 year kindergarten.I pay my share of the taxes to run the schools in district 4,but some of the kids who will be attending the 4 year kindergarten have parents who don`t own anything, don`t have jobs, and could care less about whether their children learn anything or not, they are just looking for free daycare, and free meals,on someone else`s tax dollar. I don`t think this is what President Bush had in mind when he stated that no child would be left behind. Does anyone besides me see anything wrong with this picture? PURE DISCRIMINATION on the part of the school district. If you can`t offer it for all the children, don`t offer it to any of them.Don`t make some feel that they are better or worse than the others.this is in my opinion, the main reason we have problems with gender, race, religion, financial status, and who you know or don`t know,to go for special considerations.

Congratulations to all the people at Southwood Middle School on your award, This shows your comitmentment, and dedication to all the students who attend your school.I wish LaFrance Elementary School,in District 4 had the same goals and value`s for their 4 year kindergarten class this year. then maybe some of the children who deserve to go to this 4 year class wouldn`t be left out,and be put at a disadvantage next year when they start 5 year kindergarten. But maybe it`s not about the kids anymore, just about being politically correct, and the bottom line financially.

It must be nice to be able to send your child to kindergarten,My child isn`t going to be able to go to kindergarten this year. It seems district 4 doesn`t have enough money for all the children to be accepted into their program,so they take the so called disadvantaged, first, and the kids who have parents who care enough to get out and work and try to have a little more for their kids, and who spend more time teaching them,so they will be better prepared, are being discriminated agains`t.these kids are put at the end of the list, and some are left out just becouse they are more intelligent. If you agree that this is wrong, and that all kids should be given the same education in our county,PLEASE get in touch with your local, and state elected representatives, and let them know that not only is this wrong, It is the worst kind of discrimination, and if it`s not illegal it should be.
