Would it make a difference or not if people had wells? I dont know, just wondering, I do have a well, and in the summer I did water my yard, and wash my car, now I am wondering if that mattered. I conserve in the house because I do not use the well water in the house. I was just wondering if it made a difference.

In the article Mauldin says "White kids can go up to Belvedere plaza and hang out, but as soon as two or three black guys go up there, they are told to leave the premise"
This is a true statement, because the way it goes the majority of the time is, the white kids are minding their own business, and just talking between themselves, and when the black kids come, they have to act all loud, yelling, playing their music loud, cursing, and acting like total idiots, thus ruining the night for everyone!! It is a shame that it is like a bad gene or something, blacks think they have to act all bad, wear their pants down, yell terrible curse words, make horrible gestures, and so on...what is with the majority of the blacks around here? what are you trying to prove? I believe if you would quit acting like total idiots, and calm down and act right you would see a difference in the way you are treated. You are treated, the way you are treated, because you DESERVE it!!!

My goodness, here you go again. Why complain, and try to show every error possible. These writers are trying to get the news to you as quickly as possible, and all you do is complain! Also, it would be nice to see a word of relief that noone was killed, or a thank you to the many individuals that assisted in the fire. I hope you sit and think, what is more important, how a word was spelled or the day of the week, or that everyone lived and is safe!!! Think about it, life is to short to always complain.....go and volunteer to help these people, go and help feed the hungry, go and do something useful, you will feel alot better.

TO oracle, you are so exactly correct, in every way. To explore more, it seems to me that there might be some things going on that you might NOT want us to explore. To Freddie, I dissapprove of your comment to "all of you people on here are just ignorant" you better watch what you print, I have 8 years of college myself, and while I don't know everything, I certainly do not consider myself ignorant.

There are alot of events that take place in Anderson, that have alot more people in attendance then 12,000. Maybe they should of looked into security or extra police for the event. I think it could of been planned and organized to make it work, if the people had of wanted to. Sounds like to me that the employees did not want to participate in the event any longer.

I am hard on this kid, but I will say if he is not in a gang then I will have to ease up a bit. I would rather run a tight ship, then not. I do know kids do have spats, but this guy was not at home just having a small fuss! This guy was out with a group of guys and decided to hit a boy younger then him. I think if we punish our children, then they wont be in any trouble when they do grow up. I think the punishment for him should be whatever the law says it should be for fighting in public. As for school, dismissing him from the football team, in my opinion was correct. Entire picture is not as bad as before, you are correct!
