I don't think Clemson is any better than they were with Tommy Bowden. They had a second half meltdown, made the same mistakes and came up just a little short.

Great couple of posts ali. I liked your posts too cheryj. I agree with you both. Your posts had some very good, well thought out points.

Stepping up and saying we need to start climbing out of this financial hole instead of digging it deeper isn't arrogance or stupidity, it is just good common sense.

I think the big three auto makers should be saved. It would be terrible if they went out of business, but they have to make a lot of changes to turn their companies around and become competitive and profitable again.

The big three auto makers will all go broke no matter how much money the government gives them if they continue to operate as usual. The whole auto industry is going to have to make some changes and sacrifices.

The executives running the companies, the UAW, the workers, the suppliers and the dealers are all going to have to tighten their belts if they survive.

Less profit, less pay and fewer benefits is better than no profit, no pay and no benefits.

Governor Sanford is one of the smartest men in America. If more people had heeded his warnings and followed his "cut wasteful spending" lead, fewer companies and people would be in financial trouble now.

If the federal, state and local governments keep handing out millions, billions or trillions of dollars without making sure it is spent responsibly, someday the governments will be broke and not have any more money to hand out to anyone for any reason.

An Upper State Championship game is a good way to end play on Singleton Field, a Daniel win will be a great way to end it.

Raising tobacco tax would be great if the proceeds were used wisely. I have a hard time believing that any of our tax money has been used wisely.

It seems to me that "The manner in which the Anderson County Council meeting was conducted last Tuesday, with council members adding agenda items and producing contracts like they were pulling rabbits from hats, was not the way we believe open government should be run." is the best part of this article.

Lowe's should give up on Clemson and talk to Central. It would be nice to have a new Lowe's close to the Central Wal Mart.

Putting President Bush in jail would only be a good idea if he was put in a cell between Bill Clinton's cell and the cell waiting for President-elect Obama, when he has finished his term of office.

I am sure that with his every move constantly under the microscopes of the liberal media and judged only by their biased, narrow minded, socialist views, if President Bush had done anything at all worthy of "jail time", he would have been locked up long ago.
