Everywhere Belton-Honea Path’s Brandon Owen went Friday night, he had a shadow. That shadow was the D.W. Daniel defense. Owen ran for 109 yards, and he caught a 59-yard touchdown pass, but he had to work very hard for what he got. Consequently, Daniel (3-1) held on for a 14-7 victory over B-HP (1-3) in the Region 1-AAA opener for both teams.
